| Born in Egypt, Ali received his Batchelor and Master degrees from Minia University (Egypt) where he is currently a faculty member in the Department of Fine Arts. He has won numerous awards for his works that include paintings, etchings, drawings and sculpture during local and national exhibits. He uses a multi-media approach which creates a palate of preferences for his audience; allowing them to vividly share the experience of the captured moment. Ali is motivated by the splendor and magnificence of ancient Egypt which he boldly attempts to recapture in his moving and reflective works. He considers his works as links between the past and the present. He uses them to create a focal point for his audience towards understanding the rich history of a bygone era and that of one emerging from its shadows. He honors the beauty of the land, the strength of its people and the undying hope for a peaceful existence. |
