Biography
Hello, my name is Andrew Geissler and I've experimented with different mediums over the years. I recently discovered painting while living in rural northwest Missouri, and it seems to make the most sense to me. The countryside I worked in all day was the inspiration for my artwork. Simple things i'd see during my day would drastically change my mood, and I would try to relive those feelings at the end of day by recreating them with the brush. I've since moved to Washington state and continue to use the images from my days to inspire the work I do at night. I've recently been experimenting with cityscapes rather than the usual pastoral scenes I did in Missouri. Whatever type of image moves me during the day, I seem to appreciate it more when I put it on canvas later on. Hope you like them.
