Biography
Realistic portraits, lifelike pencil sketches, naturalistic paintings, and intrinsic murals encompass the diverse range of artistic skills Ben Barrett has mastered. Ben has been living in New Zealand for 10 years, and during this time has broadened his artistic experience to encompass mural painting and tuition. His latest collection is Aotearoa inspired featuring a Maori Warrior collection, and maritime scenes. Born in England, Ben was influenced by his cultured upbringing in Greece, and holidays to Africa and Bermuda. Taking pencil to paper in Australia, as a young man Ben began to draw portraits for a living. From Australia, Ben returned to Greece as a portrait artist, extending his skills to sign writing and landscape and still-life paintings.
