Biography
I was introduced to the explorative processes of making artifacts from the age of 11 years after being awarded a place in the only selective school in the city where I was raised. Having raised my child, I returned to education so as to refresh and learn new skills. I completed an arts education through the University of Central England. Now I work as a community artist and teacher as well as produce my own work. Sensitivity to the multi sensory world evokes passion for instantanious rececption which is speedily directed into my work, thus, content and materials vary. Recycled materials are used frequently in my practice. My work envelops the natural world and also explores manmade objects and the environment that are generally seen as unpleasant. You can expect to find abstract , symbolic, modern and realists pieces amongst my collections. Enjoy!
