C Lynn Mallett is an artist known for her wide range of painting styles
She has been commissioned for almost everything from pet portraits to images etched on a loved one's headstone. Lynn has had numerous art shows throughout Oklahoma city, Tulsa, and Phoenix. She also has paintings hanging in private collections in Sacramento, New York City, and London, England. "I've been sketching and painting for as long as I can remember", Lynn says. "I only became serious about my art about twenty years ago when I believe I was inspired by the spirit of Ethel, the former owner of my home and an artist in her own right. Shortly after I purchased the home I noticed paint smudges on light switches, door knobs, etc. Late one night I found a few of her paintings in the back corner of a cabinet. That same night I painted the Mona Lisa. I've been painting ever since." |
