Udaan : Flight of the Dreams.
Painting, colours, forms and figures are a source of contentment and joy. I had a passion for art since childhood when I would conjure up shapes in clouds and try to draw them on the paper. As an artist, the world around me has always been beautiful. Though the pain, agony and human crisis emerge time and again in my works yet the wonders of nature have always amazed me.
How the sky changes its colours
wet leaves and flowers look so beautiful after rainfall
and even more beautiful when the rays of sun shine falls on them
..birds, animals, mountains, trees
every thing is so beautiful
..and thus I developed a passion to paint. Human face and figures also inspire me to paint. I love to play with colours.
In my first attempt called Udaan, I have tried to capture all these beautiful things on canvas. No actual planning goes behind any of my creations. Things that move me, inspire me, fire me help my brush and colours flow on the canvas. The basic philosophy behind my paintings is to spread the beauty, harmony and peace around something that our society, our world needs the most in present turbulent times. Udaan is just an attempt to create beauty
because it's a source of pleasure. This exhibition is just a small effort to share my beautiful world with you. The UDAAN of my passion
