| Edwin Salgado Villareal, was born September 19, 1973, in Barranquilla Colombia. He is a plastic artist that stands out as one of the best in his field. He is not only knowledgeable in his craft, but his accomplishments are known both nationally and internationally. He accelerated his studies in public accounting, marketing, graphic design and the plastic arts in his city of birth. He represented his country in a variety of international events, placing Colombia in high regard. For two consecutive years he was named one of the most prominent artists in Colombia and also named "THE EXEMPLARY COLOMBIAN" in 2007 and 2008 for his accomplishments and his fight for the welfare of communities with limited resources. He is president of FUNDACER.....a well known foundation in his city of birth, in which he worked tirelessly for the development of programs geared towards the well being of the community. His work as an artist is recognized by his displays in The Dominican Republic and United States. |
