That First Drop.
An Introduction.
As a photographer, I found myself incapable of circumventing one simple, seemingly insignificant fact. While artists in most art-forms create their art, the photographer is bound by her inability to actually create, only being capable of capturing. While a painter may craft their own imaginings, a photographer must find these things in the world around her. That is to say, photographers may only craft 'indirectly', by creating the perfect scene to bring to life what they wish to communicate.
Consequently, I've found myself attracted to abstract photography. Specifically, capturing frozen moments of the elements in action. Elements have been the subject of human interest for time immemorial and I hope that you, as I have, may find some sense of human emotion mirrored in my work. Without any further ado, do enjoy.
