Portuguese, born in Oporto, where I graduated in hotel management. I completed the course by studying in Paris at the E.H.E.C. - École des Hautes Études Commerciales.

Nowadays I dedicate the most of my time to the painting.

 Self-made, I begin to paint around 12 years old, the day I earned a water-colour box which I quickly consumed. I would never stop painting ever since.

During school, I had friends at the Fine Arts School in Oporto. They teached me the bare techniques for using colours and canvas. Since I tried oil colours for the first time I made my choice forever.

 Since 1975 I live and work in Brazil - 13 years in Rio de Janeiro, 9 in São Paulo, 4 in Brasília and for less periods in the north of the country.

 In 2003 I decided to live in Rio Grande do Sul, at the smal mountain town of São Marcos, with prevailing italian culture influence, where I set up my work place for painting.
