| Biography | |
Art has always been an integral part of my life from my childhood in Cleveland,
Ohio through my travels and experience serving 20 years as an Naval Officer to
my present life on the âÂÂIsland of the Godsâ Bali. Although techniques have
changed and matured, my love for bright brilliant colors and impressionistic
expressions has been consistent over the years.
My influences are primarily from everything I see, feel, and experience. But
also I admire and have learned by studying the classic impressionist artist and
the native island artist both in the Pacific and Caribbean regions.
I create my art as an expression of my own thoughts and feelings but ones that
resonate in each person regardless of race, creed or religion. This allows
communion between the viewed and the viewer. My goal is to facilitate this
communication through shapes, color and design also to share this communication
around the world. |
