Biography
I have enjoyed drawing and painting since I was a young teenager. My love of art has been inspired by my father, artist Josef Giuffrida, who works in watercolor and acrylic mediums. I took art classes in high school and started with pastel and then moved to acrylic painting. I particularly enjoy creating figurative art on canvas. I have a great interest in painting people from bygone eras - painted in not-so-typical poses, and I enjoy creating sports figures as well. I am constantly learning and trying to improve my style, and I appreciate any and all feedback. Awards: Honorary Mention for Acrylic Portrait on Canvas in the 2000 Congressional Art Competition.
