All artists follow their own unique path in life. Many, who create artwork as children, grow away from art as adults. Multitalented people tend to pick different or stable careers and have been told the old "starving artist" myth over and over again. They allow this myth to influence their dreams and change their lives. Therefore, suppressing their true love and God given artistic talents.
Those who don't give into this myth, are able show the world their feelings and emotions through their art. Jennifer's art is a reflection of her and a window into the world as she sees it. Allowing us to revel in the whimsical peace that her style brings. A surrealist style that allows the viewer to see beyond the obvious subject matter and feel their own unique emotional response.
In return, her art has shaped her life. Leading her to display in many juried shows and exhibits. An artist her entire life and a working artist for the past five years, her murals, paintings and drawings can be viewed in many galleries, businesses and schools on the Central Coast of California.
