Biography
Joanna was born in South Africa.She is a clinical Psychologist and is in private practice.In 1990 as a member of The National Acupuncture Association she pioneered the Cyprus Detoxification Association and provided acupuncture services for detoxification.She now lives in Thessaloniki and besides working as a psychotherapist she devotes her spare time to painting.She has held several exhibitions in Cyprus and Thessaloniki. Her work is mainly realistic, and comprises of oil and acrylic on canvas.Her paintings are characterised by the use of bright clear colours, and exhibits are mainly landscapes,seascapes, African art and Greek cultural. Some of her works are currently exhibited in The Casa Val San Martino in Northern Italy and in The Avgorou Museum In Cyprus [courtesy of The Pierides Foundation]
