Born in Quito Ecuador, in 1981, Andrés Marcial Coba has studied with some Ecuadorian and Indonesian artists, he studied fine arts in the State University of Semarang and now he is studying with the russian painter Wladimir Tasoff, Marcial Coba artworks are done in various techniques and show exotic worlds filled with dynamic, vibrant colors and a constant questioning about being and his destiny. Landscapes are transformed into entities and reflect the author's attempt to reach a temporality in his work, defined only by the space of the canvas but not his suggestion.

Andrés Marcial Coba has exhibited in many places of his country Ecuador and in Indonesia also.
