Biography | |
I fell in love with painting in the fall of 2000 when my friend drug me to the painting class. I always protested that I did not have an artistic bone in my body but something magical happened when I got that paintbrush in my hand. I have taken many painting classes since and continue to be in love with the art form.
I find that I tend to paint in a series of landscapes, usually painting two or three or perhaps 10 or 12 paintings of the same subject. Mostly I have painted old barns and buildings but am starting to expand into mountains, which I can see from my window and I am finding flowers flowing from my fingers. Most times I just sit back and watch what my hands have to paint and often it is not what my head thought I was going to work on. |
