Biography | |
I have created objects of art with a camera, stained glass, beads, yarn, stones and clay for many years, paint just this past year. I enjoy the flexibility and freedom of painting. Each canvas takes on a life of its own. I let the paint talk for itself. Sometimes it speaks volumes over what I could ever say or translate. To me each individual painting is like a set of fingerprints...no two are ever alike.
Most of what I paint is up to the seer to decide what it is to them. Here is an example of what I mean when I say the seer decides. I showed my painting "Dragon Fire" to my nephew, to him it contained a dog way in the background and a dragon breathing fire mid-section going through and out of the painting -- exit right. He also saw a man surprised by the dragon's destruction who is at the bottom left coming into the painting. Long story short, my nephew, who owns a little terrier for companionship,, was shot in a random robbing this year, he is paralyzed from the waist down and is now confined to a wheelchairfor life. He saw the painting "Dragon Fire" and associated it to his life situation. I did not see what he saw in the painting. I saw horses running into the sunset.
Other sites that my work is posted: Yessy, RedBubble and Fineartamerica. |
