I am a newer artist, branching out to sell my artwork for the first time.  I currently work freelance in graphics and illustration but I am working towards selling and exhibiting my work.  I live and work in Colorado Springs, and am currently working out of my family's student debt.  All proceeds of my artwork sales aside from that taken out for taxes will work towards paying off our $70,000 dollars of student debt that is crippling us with threatening wage garnishments of 37%.  Currently we only have a household income of $34,000 and medical bills so I doubt they will get that much but a wage garnishment of 25% would still be painful.  It will be quite painful to let any of these go before I had a chance to exhibit but I have to do all I can to alleviate our situation.  All of my artwork are originals, I do sell prints but only a sellect number of each.
