Born on March 8, 1981 into a military family, Leena Monette spent her childhood growing up all over the world and United States. Her various exposure to different cultures and people have cultivated this artist into who she is today. Now centered in New York, she is an up-and-coming artist specializing in modern acrylics in geometric abstract, retro/pop art, and art deco.

The artistic expression does not stop there. Leena is also a poet, nicknamed "The bitch with high heels and a knife" by fellow New York poets due to her straightforward, brash, & often unkind poetry. She can usually be found at local area readings.
