Mamuka graduated Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts in 1993 with specialization of Monumental-Decorative Art.
He worked in Georgian Public Television as a Production designer, stage and costumes;
State Theatre of the Youth of Georgia as a Production designer, stage and costumes;
Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts as a Fine Art Teacher;
Art Holdings Minneapolis, Minnesota as an Artist;
Illusion Theatre Company- Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota as a Stage and costumes designer;
Recently he worked on a Renny Harlin film "Georgia" as a lead painter.
Mamuka had personal exhibitions in: Talin, Baltic States, Central Art Gallery;
Moscow, Russian Federation, Cultural Centre "Mziuri";
Tbilisi, Georgia, TMS Gallery;
Saint Peters burgh, Russian Federation, Exhibition related to the Georgian Days;
In 2004-2005 Mamuka had personal exhibitions in Minneapolis, Los-Angeles; Washington DC; Chicago.
In 1995 Mamuka was awarded a Grand Prize Award for stage design at Festival of Public Theatre in Tbilisi.
In 1996 he was awarded a Grand Prize Award for stage and costumes design at International Festival of Theatre. |
