Biography
Born in 1962, Ukrainian artist Marina Tchub graduated from the State Art Institute in Kiev in 1986. Her work quickly gained popularity and was displayed in Italy, Austria, France, Croatia, Holland and Russia. History and animalism are her prime field of creativity. Marina grew up with adventurous books, which described the brave stories of heroes with wild tempers and kind hearts. The early strong impressions inspired her to create dynamic sculptures of legends caught in the middle of an epic moment, giving them a second life. She loves animals and lives with horses and a few stray dogs on her farm. This sense of a busy life emerges also from her sculptures.
