Biography | |
The vivid Ukrainian artist with Russian roots was born in 1953 with a brush in his hand. His desire to paint was so strong that as a child,he often used his parents house wall paper as canvas.
After finishing the prestigious Kiev Art Institute, he embarked on a career inspired by the miracle of Nature as well as his idols: VanGoh, Renoir, and Manet.
His own personal style soon emerged. Bright colors, clean blue skies, golden sunshine, generous brush strokes convey us his desire to celebrate a happy moment, perhaps a forgotten dream, positive energy, strong emotions.
Starting with photographs, his cityscapes are metamorphosed through his own emotions and their unpredictabilities. When finished, his work conveys exaggerated perspectives, a sense of excitement in the streets of a strangely familiar place, a small town where we spent our holidays.
Michael has also participated extensively in non-profit organization providing humanitarian aid to orphans in Ukraine.
Many admires of his work can be found in Europe and in two Museums. |
