| Biography | |
I am a self taught artist and painter. I was born on 20th Nov. 1979. I inherited my love for art, ayurveda and yoga from my father. I am facinated by astrology and palmistry too. My schooling was done in different places all over across INDIA ("Bharat") and I completed my Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and have worked as an Engineer.
Because I always liked art and science both. I went to Graduation College for B. E. and not for Fine Arts. I thought I could always practice arts without formal education and then there was never enough time for painting while studying and job for I wanted to do so much in the arts, painting, sculpting, photography, music and poetry. I think I am greedy.
Some where along the years I realized that if now I will not start I will loose many things. So I gave in to my desire, which had haunted me for so many long years. I gave up my science track and started. I find that I am a soul of an artist.
Although, I started sketching at the age of 11 And I tried my first stroke of oil at the age of 17, my real journey in the realm of art started one and half year back, in 2006, i gave up my job and started as a freelance and practicing artist, i think it was a right decision, i feel more complete now. satisfied with my life.
I paint from the depth of my heart and my canvasses comes from one of my passionate encounters with the process of creation, soul searching, feeling and thinking (which I had throughout my life till date) or and either from my craving for the bliss I find in painting.
Although I experiment a lot I do not have a specific style, my style is my thoughts and my desire to give something to the viewer. And so there is never any regularity of style in my work. My canvasses do have different lighting effects, strocks and colors depending upon my feelings or mostly subjects, for I paint to satisfy my souls desire.
I was told at an early age that I should take arts as a career and should study fine arts but I wanted to learn art in my own ways and wanted to paint only when the passion to paint is as great as life itself.
Recent work: on the topics of circle of life, elements, colors and psychology and the animal in human.
