Marilena Dolniceanu Pop was born in 1976 in Botosani , Romania .

She  discovers art at the age of 15 while participating on an exhibition in her natal town .

Graduating two universities of Fine Art  , one in year 2000 that was the Tibiscus University of Timisoara – design section , in year 2006 at West Fine Arts Univerity  of Timisoara – restauration and conservation section,  and  also a Master’s  Degree in 2005 at West Fine Arts Univerity  of Timisoara – textile art section .

Between 2001 and 2003 she studies the art of religious painting at Patriarchy of Bucharest under the guidance of monumentalist painter Manolache Patrascu .

Participating in numerous personal and collective exibitions Marilena has always succeded to impress the public with her artwork , that may include from religious paintings on glass , aged wood or canvas to oil or tempera abstract paintings or stained glass .

She also teaches fine arts and design in several schools in Timisoara .

One of the most particular and very appreciated skill of her is that ,she manages to cross from one style of painting to another as mentioned above in an exquisite and brilliant manner .

Now married and having a beautiful daughter  she is finding inspiration in every minute of her life to continuie her work , and never stop suprising her public .
