Biography 
Prinul Patel was born in Kenya in 1980, of Indian heritage and moved to England at the age of 8.
His work, he says is a response to what he feels and believes.
The mixture of cultures and memories of a childhood in Africa are a great inspiration for him. Although the connection may not be apparent, there is a desire instilled in him to use techniques that evoke the experiences of the wild, open landscapes, the richness of colour and the culture of people.
Prinul transcribes his experiences by working on images selected from photographs that he has taken. Painting, wood-block printing and screen-printing are methods he is currently employing to develop and express his intentions.
