My name is Raushan Nayyir Carter
I come from a long family line of artist and its just something i cant live without. My inspiration comes from music , some of my real life drama , and my friends. Besides art my other lover is music , i wouldn't imagine my life without it . Its a big source of my creativity .
I wasn't really interested in art until one day when i was four or five years old and my dad sat me down and put an apple and a piece of paper in front of me and told me to draw it . after that i really got into it until i was about fourteen and i was going through alot of drama and heartache and that's when i turned to music cause i found it to be my only source of joy .... it could tap into my every emotion and satisfy me greatly. A few years later when i turned seventeen i was dating this girl who was a very good artist and she got me back into loving it and ever since then i cant stop . We broke up three years later but we remain great friends.
I haven't participated in any art shows yet but i don't really think i ever plan to cause i don't practice my art for that reason . Its a big outlet for me and my emotional times(witch there are alot of :P) but times are hard at the moment.
I am currently trying to become an animator and will be attending Art center in pasadena california soon. I really love animation and writing so it just seems like a good route to take right now.
Love brought me back to art and it will always be in my heart. |
