Ray M. Swartz's artistic talents were discovered at an early age. His God given talent of drawing began ay about age 2 and has been expanding 43 years. He has 30 yrs. of doing pencil portraits, fantasy, wildlife and religious pencil art. Ray has been doing oils selling most of his early creations over the past 20 years. The past few years he has expanded into doing acrylics, pet portraits, paintings on feathers, rocks and his latest, creating beautiful hand etchings on granite tiles. He is also employed as an artist/ etcher and shape carver ( a form of sand blasting) for a monument company in his home state of PA.
Ray's unique imagination has helped him create an awe inspiring aray of fantasy work, which is his first love. He has a deep interest in the early Celtic time period and loves attending the PaRenFaire. He has however found a love of doing dog artwork lately.
Ray currently resides with his loving wife Barbara and their children, which of course includes their 2 dogs, in "the less than artistic coal region of PA, USA. He's also striving to show and sell the world his art via the internet and hopes to connect with galleries, collectors and get into doin artwork for the music buisness. |
