| Biography | |
Richard Morin, a New Hampshire native, trained as an aspiring artist while a young man. His artistic endeavors were put on hold,
necessitated by military service and the raising of a family. RichardÂ’s art career was re-energized 15 years ago and he has continued full force to the point where his vision and style now reside.
Richard studied at the Manchester Institute of Arts and Sciences and has worked and studied at a number of workshops including the privilege of working with noted artist Eric Aho in Italy.
The artist works primarily in oils on
various media. He is also an accomplished artist in the creation of Monotypes.
Richard is an artist member of the Newburyport Art Association, New Hampshire Art Association, Monotype Guild of New England. His work has garnered many awards at venues throughout New England. He considers his work to follow in the vain of the Colorist movement. His sparse colorful landscapes are his signature. |
