Artist and painter, Sonia Spadafora, was born in Italy in 1972. Lives and works in Rome, where she has her art studio. In 2008 she won the "INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL OF ART IN ROME" with the work "Burrasca ". In the same year, she founded " Artefatto ONLUS, Intercultural Art Factory for Dialogue and Diversity and obtained the patronage of the European COMMISSION for the Year of Intercultural Dialogue. Her works are in private collections in Italy and abroad. Her work "Ninfee" is on permanent exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Parliament of Sao Paulo - Brazil. Canvases are "the impetus of the soul." Between fantasy and dream, a “figurative lyricism” in contemporary key emanates from her inner world. Her art glorifies color, expansive and dynamic in the writing of the tale, from which flows the essence of what is beyond the visible. Where the heart dwells to assimilate the mystery, without the danger of settling in reality, reverberates a thought cloaked in extraordinary and incident seduction.
