Zubarev Svetlana was born in the Soviet Union (Russia) in the Urals, in the city of Chelyabinsk. She studied at the Art School (1975-1980). In 1987 she graduated from the Institute of Architecture, but for specialty work not long, because the love of the visual arts to architecture outweigh cravings. She drew a while oils and watercolors, and in 1992 took up batik.
