Vanessa Katz was born in England and currently resides in California.  She attended The Putney School of Art in London, England and various art courses over a period of time.

She has worked in many mediums and primarily works now with acrylics and some oils.  She loves to create many layers to create rich, vibrant and textural effects.  She loves abstract work as it allows freedom to express in a free flowing, uninhibited, bold and vibrant way.  

She finds her inspiration from her own life experiences and everything she sees and her goal is to enrich others.  Many of her works are in private collections in England.

She has only recently began painting again after a break raising a family.
