Walery Stratovich, an expressionist was born in 1963, in the northern part of Caucasian Russia. From 1981 until 1986 he studied in Art Academy founded by Mark Chagall in Witebsk.
Stratovich’s works are characterized by expressive compositions and brave use of colour applied on canvas. He is a master of combining warm and cold paints, which makes his creations unique. Additional ingenious effect is achieved by applying thick texture of paint.
The artist’s works are widely appreciated in Europe and far beyond its borders.
