| Biography | |
Im a Las Vegas resident without history of attendance in a formal art school. I went through some hard times and chose painting as an expression of my overbearing emotions. painting is the emotional outlet i was forced into for comfort.
For my paintings, i have no technique. Everything is sporatic with no goal or forethought to the outcome on canvas. I use any form of tools to paint with from my hands to screwdrivers. I am engrossed in my thoughts all the while i paint; i dont think about if this curve firts, or if that color matches, or if this line should be where it is; i just do it, unconsciously, and unaware. When i feel enough is enough, ill step back and scrutinize my work. if i dont like it, i paint the canvas white and begin all over again. Many of them are everchanging. with several layers of paint.
I am in my paintings. Every thought, smile, clenched fist, scream, laugh has been unconsciously engraned into each of my canvases. |
