Biography
Born in a big red brick building close to the downtown core of a rather putrefied city in Canada's little- kown civil service district, M. Scott Ault grew up knowing that there was far more to life than the stale, grey, and droozey existence that had permeated the entirety of Ottawa. In 1990, he stuck out his thumb, regained his composure, and headed out on a journey of self- discovery that is well under way. 2005 sees the beginning of an entirely new period of artistic expression for him. His works more closely approximate what he sees from within as opposed to what he feels he should erratically create. Subtle, expressive, and unique. Abstract in some senses while emotive and tense in others.
