I am a 36 year old self taught artist and right now I'm obsessed with mixed media! I usually have 2 or 3 projects going at one time and all of my work has a spiritual theme. My intention through my artwork is to provoke thought and conversation about spirituality, energy, meditation and soul (or whatever words fit your beliefs) and how we can re-connect with our purpose.
I don't ever limit myself and therefore I tend to use all kinds of media from clay, fabric, paints, beads, pieces from nature, glass...the list goes on. I have four children who really inspire me and show me the endless possibilities in art and in life. Each piece represents what I was thinking about and feeling when I created it.
All of my artwork is infused with spiritual energy and therefore it will bring a feeling of connectedness to The Universe (again, you can choose what words you like to describe the Life Force that is within everything, these are just the words I use!).
