born and raised in the south. I grew up in a trailer, shag carpet, home cooked meals from the garden. grits for breakfast and ice tea for dinner.
my art work stems from every aspect of my life. i 'mjust a little girl living in a womans body. i'm still back there. out of my heart and my head comes my work. My art training is from high school and college and a few special courses at Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina. you could say my formal training comes froml living my life. My media is oil, acrylic, pencils pens, water color, photography, and sculpture...what ever i can get my hands on.
