Biography
Born in Mexico City, Nieves began her proffessional career in 1964, exhibiting in Mexico City. Since then she represented Mexican Contemporary Art in Italy, France, USA, Spain, Israel, and some other countries around the world. Nowadays, she is living in Queretaro, Mexico, where she opened her atelier, and art workshop area. In 1985 She decided to invite other artists to try a new litographic technique which she called artlitho. This allowed artists from different techniques as watercolor, oil, and drawing to develop their own technique in a litography. The result was a seven pieces collection.
