The artist was born in the Congo and moved to the United States at a very young age. Due to the lack of financial stability his family experienced all through his life, he was unable to explore his talents which one included his ability to create art.
though the artist was always intrigued by art he was unaware of his ability to create it, until the artist eventually moved to the united states and At the age of 16 after visiting a local museum during a school trip, he decided to get started on his own very first paintings, after completing his very first painting as a self taught painter his work was displayed all through new York city and at the age of 17 he was commissioned to paint portraits for the cover of a book published by the ABC network. This painting is the artist very first self taught painting, he created this painting without the use of any models posing, this image came straight out of the artist creative imagination and this fact has always been mind blowing to many art lovers including other artist, the idea that a person who never held a paint brush before and had no education in art can close his eyes visualize an image and recreated on canvas. This painting is part of the artist art series called redemption the artist is considered as a follower of the Italian baroque master Caravaggio as well Jacques Louis David He is widely considered as one of the future prominent painter of the art world.
