INTRODUCTION
Hello and welcome to my website and many thanks for your interest!!
As I am creating new works all the time it is always worth visiting my major website at http://www.minigalleryworld.com/Edwin_Stephenson/rooms/ as there are many more examples of my work there and always new things to see. The paintings are reasonably priced to sell, they are contemporary in nature some atmospheric some are cheerful and lively. All are original unique pieces the majority are executed on box edged canvas.
The majority of the work does not need framing and are delivered supplied with picture hooks and wires for immediate hanging. I understand that selecting a painting for home or other environment can sometimes be difficult not lest because there is so much on offer (an embarrassment of riches!!). This being the case please feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss anything regarding the work this could be sizes, colour matching. I'm an approachable chap and I am always delighted to discuss your wishes and aspirations. I find that sales often are most successful when I have contact with the buyer so please feel free to get in touch there is no obligation to buy. Remember it brightens my day to discuss my work!!
I am more than happy to undertake commissions undertaken to any number of works and specific sizes. I can create works to order and am happy to work to a deadline if a particular project requires this. I work directly with the buyer there is no agency involvement and no hidden charges. Whether your needs are domestic or your commission is corporate.
I also sell internationally my most recent major sales being to Washington State in the USA (half a world away). Project and International Orders are always welcome and the Paintings will be shipped in secure packaging to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. BIOGRAPHY
Edwin Stephenson is a professionally trained artist who studied at Wakefield College of Art and the University of Coventry where he obtained a first class honours degree in fine art. After a period working at a senior level in the charity sector he has for the past three years returned to painting on a full time basis.
He has exhibited in Wakefield (college of technology and arts) Coventry (Herbert art gallery and Museum) Birmingham (Ikon Gallery) and venues in Edinburgh and Leeds. He also has a number of paintings in private collections. He is currently exhibiting at North Leeds Primary Care Trust where a large collection of some twenty paintings is currently on show. He has completed several commission including paintings for particular individuals and has provided a series of paintings for a restaurant interior and for a firm of solicitors. He is particularly interested in large-scale commissions designed for specific architectural settings. He lives and works in North Leeds. |
