Biography
Through the grand and small strokes of the brush she portrays her life and describes her work as Pentimento. "The reappearance in a painting of an underlying image that has been painted over usually when the later painting becomes transparent with age. Chances are if you get a rag soak it in acetone and wipe off the top layer you will find a completely different painting underneath; sometimes four or five." At only twenty-five Esther shows a passion, wisdom and handling of the medium well beyond her years. While her work is original it is not painted for originality. Rather she engages the viewer with a bold and shocking emotional experience and a strength that it is both pleasant and disconcerting.
