Biography
I trained as an art teacher and taught for many years in both the UK and Papua New Guinea. I have lived and travelled in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. These experiences have provided a constant source of ideas for my work. Also I enjoy walking, drawing and painting in the Peak District. I have always enjoyed working in a variety of media, but for several years have concentrated on watercolours. Recently i have been inspired by life in the peaceful hamlets of south west France. This has led me to working on a larger scale using acrylics.
