| Biography | |
Currently I live in Budapest, making a living from teaching English as a foreign language. In my own time, I draw and exhibit my artwork, which consists of abstract mixed-media pieces, some in paper, other, bigger compositions using glass fragments, treated fabric and wax, as well as combined water/oil-based paints, which I deliberately clash in order to create marbling effects. My work is mainly automatistic, so that is it is guided by an ebb and flow of subconscious impressions, but I have also experimented with figurative ideas too: on my site I also exhibit my Tarot deck and my collection of 'gothic goddesses.'
I also write short stories, which also appear on my site under the 'Bed-time Stories' seéection - these are gothics mainly within the Poe tradition, seasoned with a liberal helping of Philip K Dick and a touch of Ballard. |
