I am a painter and mixed media artist. My work is always about communication. My greatest inspiration is a single human being.
My painting process is something between my dream factory and realism. It is a state of my mind. It is relation between art and beauty of people, between art and violence; human models and mannequins. Some of my images are derived from photos of friends, family, strangers real people, others are inspirited by movies. On the rest of my paintings are mannequins. Sometimes they are more real than people. More intimate. I am painting intimacy, which I am finding in faces. I am a face painter.
I dont use any tools besides my hands to be closer: with my models and my feelings. To make close ups much deeper than they really are. Between creation and destruction my paintings are. Brain penetration situated in the middle not realistic and not an abstract in popular meaning. |
