Manuela Facchin Varalda
Born in Padua on april the 2nd 1963, she moved to Rivoli (Turin - ITALY) in 1985

Of autodidactic formation, she prefers a figurative painting in wich light represents the main investigation element in the representation of reality and in the creation of images.
Hers portraits, hers figurations, aim to a representation of human face as a soul-graphy, psycological partecipation of the subject in his humanity.
She has taken part in many.artistic events and contests, like:
the second edition of Premio di pittura Art Studio 2001 of Turin;

In 2002 the La Meridiana cultural Association of Rivoli organized her first solo exhibition The woman and the reality's poetry, then a solo exhibition by the Panassi bookshop of Rivoli followed.
In 2003 the Tucano Il mondo di Li expositive space of Turin hosted her painting solo exhibition Suggestions lights and shadows for a soul-graphy.
From december 2003 to january 2004 the Café Turin expositive space in Turin hosted her solo painting exhibition the sense of colour outcomes of a chromatic search. |
