Mario Parisio was born in the Mugello area of Tuscany on August 15, 1963. From an early age he was attracted by the forms and colors of the splendid Tuscan countryside, storing and preserving them within his soul as if they were an indefinite source of peace, good humor, and serenity. His studies led him to undertake a career as a tour operator, eventually becoming a hotel manager. At the same time, during the 1980s, he conducted radio broadcasts and wrote lyrics for songs. In Autumn of 2002 he visited some contemporary art shows and the impact of the colors reawakened his old passion. In September of 2002 he stretched his first canvas. After having completed four paintings he decided, just for fun, to display them in a store. All of the works were sold within a few days. And thus began the journey of one of the most innovative artists of the new Florentine contemporary art scene. Florence, Italy.
