Biography
The artist Ihor Ropyanyk was born in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk /former Stanislav/ in Ukraine in 1957. There were school, military service, university /he was graduated from the Department of Journalism of Ivan Franko L'viv State University /, and work in the newspaper later. And within all that period he was keen on painting. Early personal art exhibitions took place in L'viv /1980, 1982/ and Ivano-Frankivsk /1987/. He also exhibited in Kyiv /1988/, Chicago , Detroit, and Glen Spay /USA/ - 1992-1994. His art works are in the private collections in many countries.
