Biography
Roy is a self taught artist. Apart from being a well published poet he has experimented with different mediums and forms over a substantial period. Lately he is stuck with figurative oil paintings though he is well accustomed with abstract forms. It is his beliefs at the moment that the future of post modern painting is in structural forms and it need not necessarily be sub alter specifications. His idea of Oil painting is no less than revolutionary as he uses mostly black and white techniques in his work. His wanderlust has taken him to different parts of landscapes especially among the deeps of the Himalayas, which we frequently find in his paintings.
