Biography 
Georgij Safronow was born in Moscow
in 1947. He graduated from the Moscow
Poligraphical Institute. After graduation,
he moved to Poland. Safronov is a member
of the Association of Polish Artists
and takes an active role in the cultural
life of Silesia. He worked as a graphic
artist in the Silesia publishing house,
and his work has been published in print
media throughout the country. Safronow
has had 80 personal exhibitions and 100
workshop exhibitions in Paris, Munich,
Prague, Vienna, Tokyo, Toronto, and
many other places around the world. He
was awarded a grant from the Polish
Ministry of Culture.
