| Biography | |
Svetlana Savinykh was born in the South of Ukraine in a small town of the Crimean peninsula famous by its picturesque places. Here one can find high mountains, the warm Black Sea, forests and a lot of flowers. The nature occurred to be the source of Svetlanas inspiration from her early childhood.
In 1982 she graduated from Art College at Simferopol where she studied for four years. Here she took a great interest in painting and composition.
Later Svetlana graduated from Moscow Jewellery Institute and got her diploma as a designer of jewelry. She continued her work as a designer and participated in numerous exhibitions held in Moscow, Uglich and Yalta.
She completed the Highest Courses of Leather Modellers attached to St.- Petersburg Fashion House. She has been working with leather for many years developing a vast variety of goods for Crimean Leather Factory. Annually she takes part in the exhibitions.
Svetlanas present passion is ink graphics and water-colors. The main subject of her works is The Gardens of My Dreams. Now she runs a private children studio and teaches painting and composition based on world cultural traditions. Svetlana likes nature, especially flowers. She dreams of having her own greenhouse. Her spare time she spends together with her daughter Lucy in reading books. |
