Biography
Velma Gomez(Bambi) is a self-taught artist who has been painting in some form or fashion since 1979. She has only been a serious oil painter since 1995. Her art web site has won the 2005 Excellence Award from the Bel Art Gallery in Portugal. She has exhibited in the BIRDS2005 exhibit in Beijing, China. She has exhibited in several online emerging artist exhibits. And accepted an invitation to exhibit in the James Brown Music Festival Visual Soul Art Exhibit Memorial Week end 2006. Her Painting JB Soul Bird held the number one position in the survey for 4 weeks.
