Biography
Born in Los Angeles general hospital. Grew up in the LA basin. Mother was full blooded russian, of the Molokan Jumpers sect, Ginnette and her sisters got to attend Molokan church while growing up. Attended art college at COLUMBUS COLLEGE of ART&DESIGN. Artworks created by Ginnette have been collected by private individuals for a number of years. Paintings, and more recently, polymer clay Wallhangings are the artists favorite creations, most have a canine theme, but other animals, and people have been featured as the subject/theme too. Ginnette has shown Bull Terrier dogs in conformation, onedience, and agility, and has titles on Bull Terriers in these venues. The photo of the artist is Ginnette showing one of her home bred Bull Terriers to a major win at a specialty show. Ginnette thinks dogs are one of lifes best comforts and pleasure; this is why Ginnette focuses mainly on dogs as her subject matter. Ginnette hopes her original artworks make people happy-that it brings a smile to peoples faces to see her work, and to own her work.

Style Realism

A style of painting which depicts subject matter (form, color, space) as it appears in actuality or ordinary visual experience without distortion or stylization. In a general sense, refers to objective representation. More specifically, a nineteenth century movement, especially in France, that rejected idealized academic styles in favor of everyday subjects. Daumier, Millet, and Courbet were realists.
